Polish Innovation Labs (PIL), owner of the Polska Fabryka Amunicji brand, specialises in large-scale production and sale of small-caliber ammunition for the defence sector. The company currently runs three automated assembly lines capable of turning out 54 million rounds per year and operates dedicated warehouses and an in-house ballistic laboratory for rigorous quality control. Management plans to add two more lines by the end of 2025, lifting annual capacity to 90 million rounds, and to install a further five lines in 2026, ultimately targeting about 180 million units. Because it designs and builds its own ammunition-processing machines, PIL can expand production infrastructure internally and reduce dependence on third-party suppliers. The firm also intends to diversify into civilian ammunition components and lessen its reliance on imported inputs. Looking ahead, PIL is preparing for a pre-IPO round and aims to list on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2026, using newly raised capital to accelerate these milestones.
