- BizTrip AI
Participated · Seed · Feb 2026
BizTrip AI develops AI-powered travel management software that leverages a proprietary Travel LLM and multi-agent architecture to move beyond simple booking and actively orchestrate decisions across policy, budget, supplier content, traveler preferences and payments in real time. By allowing travel planners and employees to interact with an automated assistant rather than sift through thousands of flight and hotel results, the platform delivers highly personalized, policy-compliant options and promises significant cost reductions for corporate travel programs. Its technology is positioned to improve how travel managers operate, enhance the value offered by Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and provide consumer-grade experiences for business travelers. The company is currently expanding its development team while collaborating with early customers and strategic partners to deepen product capabilities. Fresh capital will be devoted to accelerating product development, hiring key engineering talent and supporting customer-growth initiatives. Since inception, BizTrip AI has raised $2.5 million across multiple pre-seed tranches, giving it runway to further refine its product and scale initial deployments.
- TripIt
Participated · Series B · Apr 2008
TripIt operates a cloud-based web service that centralizes and shares travel itineraries. The company offers free mobile apps for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry as well as TripIt Pro, a premium service for frequent travelers. It recently launched TripIt Groups to help business travelers collaborate on travel planning with colleagues. TripIt intends to use new capital to accelerate its cloud service to reach more business travelers and to build out mobile and enterprise collaboration services for global companies. Financially, TripIt closed an oversubscribed $7M third round, bringing total investment to $13.1M since launching in 2007 (including $1M at launch and $5.1M in 2008). TripIt is an online travel assistant that simplifies travel by consolidating users' airline, hotel, and other booking confirmations into a single, comprehensive itinerary. Users forward confirmation emails to TripIt, which automatically generates an organized list of travel plans. The service recently launched a mobile version of the site to support on-the-go access. TripIt also offers a Closeness Matches feature that notifies users when they are in the same region as a friend. The company debuted at TechCrunch40 and has grown its product offering alongside these features. Financially, TripIt has raised a $5.1M Series B and now has $6.1M in total funding. TripIt builds organized itineraries by parsing confirmation emails for flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel bookings. Users forward confirmations to plans@tripit.com and TripIt extracts relevant information and assembles trips without requiring registration. The service supports about seventy travel companies, including Orbitz, United Airlines, and Marriott, and can handle multiple trips and unordered emails. At the Web 2.0 Summit, CEO Greg Brockway launched a mobile-focused feature that responds to simple email commands such as "Get Flight Today" or "Get Trip." The company is San Francisco-based and has raised $1 million from O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures. TripIt also allows manual entry when message formats aren’t recognized.
