Channels builds a SaaS communication platform tailored to physical workers and event teams that organizes text workflows in a non-chronological, searchable format. The product offers live personnel maps to show employee locations, tools to prioritize alerts, task automation and progress monitoring, plus analytics and graphical representations. Founders Siddharth Kaul, Elan Rosen and Ibrahim Mohammed developed the platform from experiences in retail and events and have already landed customers including Marriott Hotels. The company has demonstrated initial traction and revenue and expects revenue opportunities at the convention level. Channels recently raised a $520,000 seed round, bringing total funding to nearly $570,000, which it will use to hire engineers and expand development. The founders plan to increase recurring revenue in the Middle East while building operations in the United States; two founders will continue their studies while one will work full time.
