CamerEye builds an AI Smart Fence and safety ecosystem that creates a virtual smart perimeter around pools using an AI overhead camera to distinguish humans from animals and detect early water-distress behavior. Its system aims to reduce false alarms common to monitoring camera systems. The company holds three patents pending that leverage AI models to continually improve performance. CamerEye plans to expand its focus on backyard safety and analytics and intends to ship four additional AI analytics capabilities in 2022. Financially, CamerEye closed the last tranche of its seed-round funding series for a total of $1.1M. The company trained and developed its ecosystem for two years pre-launch and completed more than 30 beta installations prior to closing the round.
