DataVita operates and develops data center campus assets in the UK, including DV1 (operated since 2016) and a smaller DV2 site in Glasgow offering 130 racks across 1,000 sqm. The company acquired DV1 in 2021 with £45m of owner support and was built originally by HFD Group in 2021. It is expanding DV1 and building a new DV3 facility in the North Lanarkshire AI Growth Zone, with all capacity from both buildings contracted to CoreWeave under a 15-year lease. Last year CoreWeave announced deployments of Nvidia GPUs into DataVita data centers, and management states the first facility from the current program is due to complete this year. The company has secured project-level debt financing and a National Wealth Fund-backed guarantee to underwrite the current build-out.
