  • Spendkey

    Led · Seed · May 2023

Spendkey provides a spend intelligence platform that gives CFOs, CIOs, and CPOs at large multinationals a single, clear view of spending across their organisation to enable more informed spending decisions without lengthy backend processes. The company serves customers across pharmaceuticals, financial services, retail, professional services, and manufacturing. Co-founded by Alex Grundy and Akshay Upadhye in 2020 and based in London, Spendkey targets large multinational clients. It raised £358K in a Pre-Seed funding round that included participation from Fuel Ventures and Scalebridge Capital. The company intends to use the funds to expand into more global markets, hire a dedicated sales team, strengthen its marketing activities, and introduce new best-in-class features to the platform. Those plans point to near-term commercial expansion and product enhancement.

  • Garvis

    Participated · Equity · Sep 2022

Garvis provides a bionic demand planning and stock optimization platform that places the planner at the center and exposes a user-trainable, transparent Open Box AI interface. The platform identifies environmental factors that affect demand, spots sudden changes, and converts real-time data into explainable plans. Garvis collaborates with the University of Antwerp to continuously optimize its predictive algorithms and works with partner Delaware to support sales. More than 50 well-known businesses, including Jacobs Douwe Egberts, use the platform. The company says its approach reduces costs, shortens implementation time (<24 hours), and lowers forecast error. With the new €3.5M funding, Garvis intends to increase accessibility of its AI platform and pursue international expansion.
