Edge Case Games develops and publishes Fractured Space, a PC-based tactical space combat game that launched in Steam Early Access Alpha in November 2014. The Early Access launch generated 400,000 users in the first five months. The team is working towards a full commercial launch in early 2016 on additional platforms. Mercia and Seasun Games have entered a funding and strategic partnership to help scale the business globally and expand into new markets, particularly Asia. Mercia says it supported and accelerated development from a team of two at initial investment to a team of over 30 today. Company leadership cites an intent to capitalise on the global growth in free-to-play games across multiple platforms.
