Participated · Equity · Nov 2019
PacketAI is a French startup that uses machine learning to parse raw event and monitoring data to predict and alert on IT incidents. It integrates directly with APIs from Datadog, Splunk and Dynatrace to analyze raw events in real time and surface actionable alerts (for example, slow bank transfers or database write failures). Today the company builds a bespoke ML model for each client and is piloting implementations with initial customers. PacketAI plans to build vertical-specific models once it has four or five customers in the same industry (e.g., banking or telecom). The service was scheduled to be generally available in early 2020 and pricing is based on the number of nodes monitored. The startup has raised outside capital to support product development and early deployments.
