Curisium offers a blockchain-based platform that uses secure computation technologies to enable payers, providers, and life science companies to securely engage in innovative, patient-centric value-based contracts. The company is led by co-founder and CEO Peter Kim and is based in Manhattan Beach, California. In December 2017 Curisium raised $3.5M in seed financing to support its platform and growth. Investors in the round include Flare Capital Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Shuttle Fund, Sanofi Ventures, and Green Bay Ventures. As part of the financing, Bill Geary of Flare Capital and Mohamad Makhzoumi of NEA joined Curisium’s board, and Ruchita Sinha of Sanofi Ventures was appointed a board observer. Curisium also announced an inaugural Industry Advisory Board including Milind Kamkolkar (Chief Data Officer at Sanofi) and Greg Papadopoulos (Venture Partner at NEA and former CTO of Sun Microsystems).
