SK E&S is becoming a Global Clean Energy & Solution Provider through implementation of a range of businesses, ranging from upstream interests such as overseas gas field development to downstream interests, which includes power generation, district energy, and city gas. SK E&S currently operates and supplies electricity from its LNG power plants in Gwangyang, and contributes to Korea’s national electricity procurement by introducing competitive LNG. Also, through its community energy business that produces heat and electricity simultaneously, SK E&S supplies environment-friendly and high-efficiency energy to domestic and industrial users. Its seven city gas subsidiaries located throughout the nation supply gas with safety management as its utmost priority.

    Volta builds and operates commerce-centric EV charging networks placed in front of grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, hospitals and other high-traffic locations. Its charging stations, located in 23 states and over 200 municipalities, feature 55-inch digital displays and provide free energy to customers while driving increased spend, dwell time and engagement for host properties. The company has signed agreements with property owners including Albertsons Companies, Giant Food, Regency Centers, Wegmans and Topgolf. Volta’s media network has attracted advertisers such as GM, Hulu, Nestlé, Polestar, Porsche and Unilever. The company plans to use new capital to accelerate investment in product, engineering and network infrastructure and to begin international expansion. Financially, Volta completed a $125M Series D that brings total equity raised to date to over $200M. Volta develops and deploys free, advertiser‑sponsored EV charging stations positioned at grocery stores, entertainment venues and shopping centers where demand is high. The company models charging demand to identify locations that deliver strong utilization, and its stations are among the most used in the industry. Volta says it delivers more electric miles per dollar of capital invested than any other U.S. charging network. The business partners with real estate owners and brand sponsors to underwrite free charging for drivers. Over the last year Volta’s revenue has tripled driven by real estate partner demand and increased sponsorship revenue. To date the company reports delivering more than 45 million free electric miles to EV drivers and plans to expand within established metro areas and enter new markets using the new capital. Volta has built a community engagement model anchored by a network of free EV charging stations paid for by brands and retail partners. The company deployed more than 100 outdoor stations across five cities, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, and Honolulu. Volta places chargers in high‑volume retail locations and has secured relationships with seven of the top ten national real estate investment trusts for site placements. Brand partners cited in early deployments include Macy's, Whole Foods Market, and Sungevity. The company aims to expand its network into additional communities and position brands as enablers of EV adoption. With new financing announced, Volta has strengthened its financial position to continue scaling its branded charging infrastructure.
