Musikki builds an image management and distribution platform for the music industry, positioning itself as “the IMDB of music.” Its core product, Exclusiph, enables distribution of images to any channel with a single file upload. The tool automatically generates assets for print, digital downloads, and embeddable online formats while carrying credits, music metadata, and related promotional content like press releases and audio/video links. Exclusiph was developed with independent label 4AD and is already used by labels including Secretly Group. Musikki competes on the data and B2B side with services such as Allmusic, Discovr, Echonest and Rovi. The company recently secured additional funding to extend its image platform and support rollout of Exclusiph. Musikki operates a proprietary algorithm that pulls multiple APIs to match music data, content and information to the correct artist, album or song and aggregates it into a single page. The service is positioned as an IMDB‑like discovery platform for consumers while also powering other music services with data about listener preferences. On the consumer side the London‑based company competes with AllMusic, Discovr, Echonest and Rovi. The company's development base is in Portugal, and it says it is in advanced discussions with a number of major music businesses about partnerships. Financially, Musikki had been bootstrapped and won an MIT‑backed €200,000 non‑diluted grant. It recently secured €330,000 in seed funding from Smart Equity and has also raised seed capital from several Portugal‑based sources.
