Criam produces a patented portable in vitro diagnostic device that delivers rapid analysis of blood type, sub-type, diseases, and nutrients. The company has completed clinical trials with Hospital Corporation of America (US), Hospital Santa Maria and Hospital de Braga (Portugal), and Birmingham Bio‑Hub (UK), demonstrating 99.77% accuracy for blood typing. Criam expects to receive regulatory approval in early 2023. It is allocating part of its R&D to infectious-disease detection, including COVID-19 and malaria serological tests. Financially, the company has raised $2.1 million in seed funding to further development of its in‑situ blood test analysis technology.
