Lynx is a Paris-based company that develops high-performance virtual and augmented reality devices and an ecosystem built on openness and privacy. Lynx says it is supported by a vibrant community of users and developers seeking open alternatives. Financially, Lynx has completed a $4 million Series A led by Somnium Space. Investors in the round included participants from the AR/VR field, among them ex‑Meta and Google engineers, and Somnium's founder Artur Sychov will join Lynx's board.
