SpinEM Robotics is a deep tech startup specializing in navigation solutions for robotic spinal surgery. Founded in 2021 as a spin-off from Haventure Medtech Startup Studio and led by CEO Stephane Morvan, the company is based in Saint-Martin d’Hères, France. It is developing a next-generation tracking solution for robotic spinal surgery that does not suffer from line-of-sight issues. The tracking system is compact enough to be attached to individual anatomical segments (vertebrae, ilium or sacrum), which protects it from accidental nudges and increases system accuracy. The company recently closed a €10M Series A2 strategic investment from Spineart, strengthening its financial position. The strategic investment is described as consolidating SpinEM Robotics’ position in the market.
