Terrasos develops and operates habitat banks that restore and conserve large-scale offset areas for voluntary and mandatory clients seeking "no net biodiversity loss." Its habitat-bank mechanism aggregates efforts from multiple parties to maximize scale, permanence, and biodiversity gains compared with fragmented, short-term initiatives. In July 2024 Terrasos secured a credit line from the Land Degradation Neutrality Fund (LDNF) managed by Mirova to finance expansion. The financing allows investment in several thousand new hectares of habitat bank land and covers all conservation and restoration costs. The deal positions Terrasos as the market leader for habitat banks in Colombia and helps meet increasing offset demands from clients and authorities. Panorama Capital Partners advised on the transaction, and company statements say the financing reinforces Terrasos' role as a global trendsetter in biodiversity conservation. Compagnie Maritime Monegasque secured $94 million in financing from Summit Ridge Capital Partners to support construction of an ethanol-powered fleet of Platform Supply Vessels in Brazil. Panorama Capital Partners sourced and advised on the transaction and joined as a co-investor. The financing will facilitate a restructuring of CMM's shareholder base and the expansion of its fleet. Company leadership framed the deal as accelerating a transition to sustainable, ethanol-fuelled maritime logistics and strengthening the company’s financial position. Summit Ridge’s CEO emphasized the firm’s commitment to environmental stewardship and confidence in the economic viability of sustainable energy solutions in the Brazilian shipping sector. CMM’s CEO said the partnership expedites the move to a sustainable fleet and offers environmental and economic advantages.
