Billte AG is a Zurich-based FinTech that builds invoicing and payment solutions for businesses, with a focus on core systems such as eBill and EBICS. The company offers user-friendly tools including eBill Direct Debit, which is positioned to replace the current LSV system in coming years. Billte has extended its services to the business clientele of several Swiss cantonal banks, serving small, medium, and large enterprises. The startup aims to become the go-to service provider for cantonal banks and to deepen collaborations with banking partners. It recently closed a financing round led by Spicehaus Partners with participation from SICTIC business angels; the amount was undisclosed. Since inception Billte has secured around CHF 2 million, and the fresh funds will be used to expand its reach and accelerate growth in Switzerland and internationally. Billte develops a tool that automates invoice processing, sending, verification and reminder workflows for companies and consumers. Invoices can be delivered digitally via SMS, email or WhatsApp and recipients can pay using a variety of payment methods. The Zurich startup began in early 2017 through the F10 Fintech Incubator & Accelerator program. Billte is working on a first product version (MVP) tailored for the insurance industry, targeted for launch at the end of 2018. The company announced a CHF 450,000 seed financing from Synpulse Management Consulting. Billte plans to invest the capital into further software development, business development, sales and marketing.
