Tabtor Math is an iOS and Android tablet-based math tutoring platform for grades K-8 that leverages patent-pending Active Replay Technology and digital-paper technology to help students improve math performance. The product includes automatic grading, video tutorials, mind-mapping abilities and adaptive analytics, and a companion smartphone app provides parents with daily insights. Led by CEO Raj Valli, Tabtor currently reaches over 60,000 students across 12 countries. The company intends to use new funding to expand and scale Tabtor as a platform offering personalized tutoring supporting multiple subjects and languages globally. Tabtor is based in Kendall Park, NJ and Bangalore, India and focuses on improving student outcomes through its tutor- and parent-facing features. Tabtor (PrazAs Learning Inc.) builds an edtech platform that tracks the path students take to solve problems, allowing teachers to see process metrics rather than just end results. Its parameters include learning velocity, a confidence metric and data-driven exception analysis. The company is starting with mathematics and lists private schools in the United States and India among its customers. Tabtor is creating tablet versions of its product (currently on iPad, with Windows 8 and Android versions coming soon). The team recently signed a partnership with Kadokawa Shoten to bring gamification and a combined learning and gaming experience to K–12 students in India. Led by CEO Raj Valli, the company intends to use new capital to expand product development and accelerate market entry into the consumer space.
