Zarya is a Lahore-based B2B social-commerce platform that enables small sellers, primarily homemakers, to source and sell products through its service. The startup handles the entire retail process, from sourcing products to delivery and payments. Its platform currently lists over 3,000 products. Zarya plans to use the new funds to broaden its supply base and add new categories such as shoes, home textiles, makeup, and abayas. The company was founded earlier this year by brothers Faisal and Saad Zahid. Co-founder Faisal Zahid previously served in product roles at Careem and grocery delivery startup Nana. Zarya positions itself as a local adaptation of social-selling models pioneered by companies like Meesho.
