Leaf Solar Power designs, installs and delivers highly-efficient, high-quality solar panels and systems throughout the U.S., providing predictably priced electricity and services to residential, commercial, industrial, government and utility customers. The company offers customer financing through a partnership with LightStream (a division of SunTrust) that lets property owners lock in a fixed monthly payment with no down payment or upfront installation and permitting costs. Leaf currently operates in California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey and New York. Management says the company will expand its footprint across the U.S. and grow its brick-and-mortar retail infrastructure to advance energy-efficiency measures and local economic development. To support that growth Leaf raised $75 million in financing from Tamra-Tacoma Capital Partners to syndicate residential and commercial solar installations. CEO Kevin Boyle said the partnership positions Tamra-Tacoma to support Leaf’s continuing development efforts.
