MobileODT develops the EVA System, a smart mobile colposcope that combines advanced imaging, data and software applications for colposcopy, general gynecology, telegynecology and forensic imaging. The EVA System is deployed in 30 countries and across more than 60 U.S. health systems. The company is integrating AI (referred to as Augmented Intelligence) into its platform to provide clinical decision support at the point of care in approved markets. MobileODT intends to use the new funds to further develop that AI clinical decision support technology for evaluation of cervical cancer. The company is led by newly appointed CEO Leon A. Boston. To date MobileODT has raised $26M in total funding. MobileODT develops portable, smart, connected medical devices focused on expanding access to care. Its first product, the FDA-cleared EVA System, is used across 43 U.S. health systems and by providers in 26 countries for cervical cancer screening, diagnosis, and forensic colposcopy. Led by CEO and Chairman Ariel Beery, the company plans to expand its product portfolio and intellectual property and to grow sales and marketing in the U.S. and current international markets. MobileODT raised an additional $6.825M in Series B funding to support those efforts. The round was led by OrbiMed Advisors with participation from previous investor Tristel plc, and Dr. Ron Ginor of OrbiMed will join the board. The company has raised over $13 million to date.
