    ip.access is a Cambridge, UK–based provider of femtocell and picocell small-cell solutions for mobile operators worldwide. The company offers products aimed at boosting coverage and network capacity in homes, offices and busy public locations. It has raised $15 million in new funding from a group including Intel Capital, Cisco, Qualcomm, Amadeus Capital Partners, Rothschild & Cie Gestion, Scottish Equity Partners and TE Connectivity. CEO Simon Brown said the capital will be used for the development and deployment of coverage- and capacity-boosting small cell products as the global rollout of high-speed 3G and LTE networks continues.
