  Dryfing develops systems to clean, disinfect, and dry neoprene wetsuits used by surf schools, triathlon organizations, and dive centers. Founded in late 2019 by Naia Espinosa and Juanjo Torres, the startup emerged from the Álava entrepreneurial ecosystem and is based in the BIC ARABA building. The company says current methods leave wetsuits delivered wet and can risk spreading infections; Dryfing aims to improve customer experience and hygiene for companies in the aquatic-sports sector. It has received accelerator recognition including the Explorer program (Banco Santander), participation in a Silicon Valley training program, and it won the CERN2B Challenge, establishing a technological collaboration with CERN. Dryfing announced a pre-seed round of €400,000 and intends to use the capital to develop a prototype and manufacture the first units. Its new investors include engineering firm Guipuzcoana Tecnotooling as a technology partner and several business angels.
