Shamiri Institute designs and deploys character-based, data-driven mental health interventions aimed at young people. The organization has been developing and executing ways to address youth mental-health challenges in Kenya and beyond. With support from the Templeton World Charity Foundation, Shamiri will scale its programs and broaden operations across Africa. The startup plans to actively begin measuring its interventions’ impact and to examine long-term health outcomes for participants.
