Overview

The team comes from heavy tech oriented background such as Cloud Infrastructure, Data Science, Theoretical Physics, Machine Learning, Software Development and Business development. We like to brand ourselves as "the nerds" in the tech space. We speak the same technical language as the founders and like to be an active part in the venture we enter, depending on the needs of the founders. Our thesis is that we are building bridge spanning over the knowledge gap between deeptech founders and traditional investors.

CAPSULE is a Copenhagen-based fashion tech startup founded in December 2021 by Louise Linde, Nadia Wabra, and Emilie Seegert that offers a creative wardrobe tool and community app. The app gives users an overview of their closet, lets them swipe through clothing to create outfits, discover where items are from, and view other users' wardrobes. It also facilitates clothes borrowing and swapping and aims to reduce passive clothing usage to support a more sustainable fashion industry. Two months after launch the app had thousands of users across more than 118 countries, with over 135,000 pieces uploaded and growth of at least 1,000 users per week. The company has secured €600k in a seed round backed by UNICO Capital, Martin Lykke Suhr, and The Aventures. CAPSULE says the funding will be used to develop the app further, implement new revenue streams, and expand its international community.

Frankly Insure is also accelerating development of a decentralized insurance platform utilizing blockchain for the longer term. The startup participated in the Copenhagen Fintech Mentor Program, which its CMO credited with helping prioritisation and providing guidance. Financially, the company has closed a 2M pre-seed round to fund product launch and platform development.
