Super7 is a pop-culture design house and producer of lifestyle-oriented collectibles, toys, and apparel. Founded in 2001 and led by designer Brian Flynn, the San Francisco company has built products across 80s & 90s pop culture, from designer vinyl to deluxe action figures inspired by comics, animation, video games, Hollywood, horror, music, and monsters. In addition to owned brands, Super7 has designed, manufactured and distributed officially licensed programs for G.I. Joe, Transformers, Disney, Powell-Peralta, Peanuts, and musical acts including Iron Maiden, the Misfits, O.D.B., and the Beastie Boys. The company announced an up-to-$25M investment from The Newcastle Network, with an initial $12M tranche and plans for further investment. Super7 intends to use the funds to invest more in its long-term strategy. The announcement coincided with San Diego Comic-Con, where Super7 released 18 exclusive toys and launched a crowdfunded ThunderCats Cat’s Lair Playset campaign.

Kizik designs and sells hands-free shoes that slip on like slippers but fit like shoes, marketed for convenience, comfort, and everyday wear. The brand is built on HandsFree Labs’ portfolio of more than 100 patents and patents pending. Kizik offers stylish men’s and women’s footwear and plans to expand into kids’ shoes as well as hands-free high tops and Chelsea boots. Management says online sales growth has been phenomenal. The company is based in Lindon, Utah, and emphasizes modern design and ease of use. Kizik previously entered an intellectual property licensing partnership with Nike through its parent, HandsFree Labs, Inc.
