Vopero operates a full-service clothing resale marketplace and a proprietary end-to-end "resale-as-a-service" solution that handles collection, processing, imaging and online listing for sellers. Sellers use the Vopero app to request a kit (bag with a QR code), schedule pickups, and monitor sales while buyers browse via web or iOS/Android by brand, size and color. The company provides omnichannel marketing, personalized buying/selling experiences, demand and sales analytics, and a variety of payout options; average take rate is about 60% (lower on high-end items). Vopero processed over 1 million unique garments last year, has close to 400,000 app downloads in the past year, and annual sales exceed $5 million; the company says it is on a direct path to profitability. Items average 15 days to sell on the platform and postings can take up to a week (the company communicates up to three weeks to sellers). Vopero currently operates in Uruguay and Mexico and emphasizes safety and trustworthiness in payments and transactions. Vopero is a full-service, tech-driven fashion resale marketplace that launched in November 2020 in Uruguay. Its social commerce platform and proprietary technology power a resale engine that inspects, tags, photographs, and distributes high-quality SKUs and offers plug-and-play resale solutions for brands and retailers. Vopero operates its own infrastructure to enable overstock resale, circular loyalty programs, and the creation of secondhand sections within brand stores. Since launch it has onboarded more than 3,000 independent sellers and retail stores, processed over 80,000 secondhand products, and achieved a 70% repeat customer rate. The company expanded to Mexico in April 2021 and plans to scale further across Latin America, including Brazil and Colombia. Vopero announced a USD $7.5 million strategic investment to support scaling its operations and marketplace growth.
