Overview
The Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund is a vehicle for financing critical infrastructure projects in the Three Seas region. The main goal of the Three Seas Fund is to invest in transport, energy, and digital infrastructure on the north-south axis in the Three Seas countries and to compensate for differences in the development of individual European Union regions.

R.Power develops and operates utility-scale battery energy storage systems as part of a fast-growing multi-technology portfolio. It is advancing construction of the 127 MW/254 MWh Scorniçesti standalone BESS in Olt County, Romania, which is under construction and expected to enter operation in late 2026 or early 2027. The Scorniçesti project is co-owned with Eiffel Investment Group via its Eiffel Transition Infrastructure fund and has a long-term optimisation contract with regional trading partner GEN-I. R.Power recently also announced financing for a 150 MW/300 MWh Jedwabno BESS in Poland. The company has ongoing financing relationships with EBRD, BGK and PKO Bank Polski, which are supporting its current project development and construction activities.
