DataWeave provides a SaaS competitive intelligence platform that aggregates and analyzes millions of unstructured data points across multiple sources to help brands understand competition, monitor their brands, and optimize offerings. Founded in 2012 by CEO Karthik Bettadapura, the company is based in Seattle, Washington. It serves global customers across North America, India, South‑East Asia and the Middle East. DataWeave recently closed an undisclosed Series A funded by strategic and institutional investors. The company will use the funds to expand sales, marketing and customer success initiatives—especially in North America—and to scale its data products. DataWeave, founded in 2011 and based in Bangalore, makes public web data accessible in both human- and machine-readable formats. It extracts, structures, aggregates, normalizes and analyzes public data, then exposes it through APIs, dashboards and visualizations to help users discover, monitor and visualize information. The company counts clients such as Jabong, Snapdeal, Puma and Rediff among others. It reported monthly revenues of Rs 5 lakh. DataWeave joined TLabs' first accelerator batch in February 2012 and was the first TLabs company to secure external funding. The company says it plans to expand its team and enter additional verticals such as travel and corporate intelligence.
