GammaTime operates a microdrama streaming platform focused on short, vertically formatted episodic series designed for mobile viewers. The company plans to expand its offering of premium originals and to adapt Versant-owned IP into short-form romance, true crime and fantasy series using Versant showrunners. GammaTime secured rights to archives owned by the proprietor of the National Enquirer for new microdrama projects. Prior to its October 2025 launch, the company raised $14 million from investors including Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Alexis Ohanian. Slava Mudrykh, a former Google Gaming executive, is a co-founder and serves as chief revenue officer. The recent Series A included a minority investment from Versant Media Group to help scale content and reach younger mobile audiences.
