Cellular Origins, led by CEO Edwin Stone, provides a factory-led automation platform that adapts to existing cell-therapy manufacturing processes and facilities. Its Constellation ecosystem integrates mobile robotics and automated sterile welding with established bioprocess instruments to streamline and scale production. The technology is already in use by industry leaders such as Cytiva, Fresenius Kabi, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Wilson Wolf, demonstrating early commercial adoption. With fresh capital, the company plans to expand its commercial team and widen the range of unit operations that can be integrated into Constellation. It also intends to build the systems and infrastructure required for full manufacturing and services scale-up. Looking ahead, Cellular Origins aims to extend its capabilities beyond cell therapies into the broader Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) sector, positioning itself for growth in adjacent markets.
