Audette offers an end-to-end AI platform that captures, monitors and analyzes building and geospatial data to digitize the process of identifying emissions‑reduction opportunities. The product layers private and public data with rooftop and asset feature detection, then applies a library of thousands of digital twins across vintages, use types, and HVAC topologies to model decarbonization pathways. Building-level interactions retrain the models, creating a flywheel that improves macro-scale accuracy over time. Customers include real estate asset managers who use the platform to visualize portfolios, prioritize retrofits, track progress, and source financing or incentives. Audette plans to deploy its technology across 150 North American cities over the next 24 months and aims to scale globally toward creating a carbon-transition plan for every building. The company has participated in Google Cloud Accelerator Canada and Google’s UN SDG advisory program, and earlier received an investment from Active Impact in 2021. Financially, Audette has just closed a US$9.5M seed financing to fund data acquisition and market expansion. Audette offers a software platform that digitizes assessment of energy conservation potential and creates low-carbon transition plans for large commercial real estate portfolios, ingesting data from utilities, maintenance requests, building reports, and sensors. The company launched its core product in 2020 and has partnered with enterprise clients representing more than C$120 billion in assets across Canada. Audette charges subscriptions per building per year and plans to add transaction-based revenue via a financing marketplace currently being beta-tested with two large funds. The startup has used its latest funding to grow headcount (adding two employees to an eight-person team) and plans to hire three more over the next two quarters. Audette plans to scale across British Columbia, Ontario, New York, and California and to develop a municipality-focused module for community-level decarbonization. The company was accepted into Google Canada’s Cloud accelerator and intends to use the capital to scale technology and operations.
