TBH was co-founded by actor Noah Schnapp to reinvent traditional hazelnut spread with a vegan, lower-sugar, more sustainable alternative that mimics Nutella’s creamy texture. The company’s hero product omits palm oil, uses monk fruit for sweetness, and relies on a manufacturer process that roasts hazelnuts and separates oils to preserve spreadability. TBH markets heavily to Gen Z via a viral TikTok presence and Instagram ads and is preparing retail expansion into Whole Foods. The brand recently ran a Republic crowdfunding campaign that raised nearly $470,000 from more than 500 backers, which it says demonstrated strong resonance with younger consumers. Management plans to use the raise to start R&D on new products and to launch a single-serve packet in 2023 for events and donations. TBH emphasizes a “giving back” ethos and is pursuing B Corp certification as part of its long-term sustainability and impact goals.
