Wouzee is a Madrid-based video streaming platform that lets users broadcast and share live videos. The service is available as an app for iOS and Android and enables users to act as citizen journalists and create their own TV channels. Co-founded by David Segura and Marcial Cuquerella, the company intends to use new funding to enter the livestreaming market, grow partnerships, and expand internationally. In October 2014 Wouzee raised €1m in its first funding round. Backers included Unidad Editorial and José María Salido, among others.
