Mowito builds Physical AI foundation models and software that let industrial robot arms learn manufacturing tasks from demonstrations rather than traditional rigid programming. Its technology is already deployed in production, powering robots on manufacturing lines at a Fortune 500 automotive company and supporting high-precision assembly in automotive and consumer electronics. The startup was co-founded in 2024 by Puru Rastogi, Adityanag Nagesh, and Safar V and is based in Bengaluru. Mowito aims to scale deployments and expand into the United States as part of its growth plans. The company has raised a $540K angel round previously and most recently a $3 million pre-seed round to fund its expansion and team scaling. Mowito competes with established industrial automation and machine vision players such as Cognex, Keyence, Omron, and Fanuc.
