  Repositive operates a human genomic data portal that enables researchers and scientists to access data from a range of global sources and securely make their data accessible to internal and external collaborators. With headquarters in Cambridge, Repositive aims to scale user capacity and professional services before beginning a Series A fundraising in 2016. The company emphasizes enabling efficient and ethical data access to accelerate genomics research and benefit patients. The company was spun out of the charity DNAdigest in August 2014 and is co‑located with DNAdigest at the Future Business Centre Cambridge as part of the Social Incubator East. It has received early support from the Wayra UnLtd startup academy and won the Big Venture Challenge in 2014; it recently raised £300k in seed funding to launch and develop the platform.
