AlleyNYC operates a community-focused co-working space designed to foster entrepreneur collaboration. Founded in 2012 by Jason Saltzman and Nsi Obotetukudo, the company runs a Midtown Manhattan site (~16,000 sq ft) and is expanding to a 40,000 sq ft Chelsea location. The current space hosts nearly 200 members, including more than 50 early-stage companies. With a new $16 million financing, Alley plans to scale to over 110 companies and roughly 600–800 members. Leadership envisions an "Alley 2.0" that adds paid services for members—concierge, accounting, legal, back-end design and potentially health insurance—so founders can focus on product. The community also extends beyond the physical space through a newsletter of more than 250,000 subscribers and public tech events.
