Blue Foot Membranes develops and supplies a proprietary backwashable polymeric flat sheet ultrafiltration membrane called Integrated Permeate Channel (IPC®) for membrane bioreactor (MBR) applications. The IPC® membrane is integrated into OEM solutions and offers very low energy consumption, a reduced CO2 footprint, compact footprint, and an attractive total cost of ownership. Blue Foot provides its membrane technology to solution providers and OEMs, enabling industries and municipalities to reuse wastewater for high-value applications. The company reports dozens of full-scale industrial MBR references and a recent contract replacing membranes in a municipal MBR. Management says the new financing will allow execution of ambitious global growth plans and enable more end-users to reuse wastewater. Blue Foot is based in Lommel, Belgium.
