Chromasun is a San Jose, CA-based developer and manufacturer of solar air conditioning systems. Its core product is the MCT solar collector designed for solar cooling applications. The company plans to introduce the MCT collector to market and use new capital to support continued growth. Chromasun closed a $3M first institutional funding round to fund these efforts. The investment was led by Danish investor VKR Holding, with participation from GoGreen Capital and two undisclosed US investors. Chromasun currently has showcase projects under development in Australia, the USA, Europe and the Middle East.
