  OMRT is an Amsterdam-based deeptech company (founded 2018) that builds the Design Scout platform to accelerate and de-risk building design by generating thousands of potential designs and evaluating wind, sustainability, and financial performance. Its platform can produce more than a thousand potential designs in one run and the company says it has influenced the creation of over 30,000 houses so far. OMRT aims to cut the typical design process from 16 months to two months, reducing environmental impact and speeding financial returns. The company works with leading project developers such as VORM and was selected for EscherCloud and NVIDIA’s Hyperion Lab; it also exhibited at World Summit AI with the City of Amsterdam. OMRT plans to grow its workforce, improve its platform and technologies, and expand the reach of its solution to help address the housing crisis and embed its platform within building design practices.

  Amsterdam-based Healthy Workers builds a software platform that combines objective sensor data and subjective employee input to improve office comfort and well-being. Founded in 2015, the platform’s sensors measure indoor climate variables such as CO2 levels while an employee app captures perceptions about facilities, concentration and physical issues. The system aggregates data, shares insights with facility managers and employees, advises interventions, sends smart notifications and produces reports. Companies pay a fixed monthly fee per square metre for the service. Healthy Workers currently covers 75,000 square metres of office space in the Netherlands. The company recently raised capital to further develop its smart building technology and expand healthy workplace coverage.
