  Rapid Healthcare, based in Irvine, California, develops SaaS and mobile clinical support platforms including H-Gateway, a patient medical record platform, and four clinical apps for specimen collection, wound care, and NICU feeding verification. Its NICU apps, Mother’s Milk and Donor Milk, have extended past pilot into active use at four NICU locations, including Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. The apps guide nurses through label creation and barcode scanning to verify correct milk matches at the point of care and store feeding data on the company's internal H-Gateway with reporting available through a web portal. Pilots at Pomona Valley eliminated dual nurse sign-off and reduced manual workarounds, costs, and liability. Founder and CEO Anton Ansalmar said the apps were developed in collaboration with nurses to enable verification at the moment of care. The company raised just under $1 million from Watermark Venture Capital to advance core products and will focus on raising a next round and pursuing additional NICU partnerships domestically and internationally.
