Rentd is a UK lettings platform that offers an end-to-end rental experience for landlords and tenants, consolidating listing, tenant referencing and lettings agreements in one service. The platform charges a fixed fee of £799 (including VAT), payable only once a property is let, positioned as a savings versus typical commissions of around £1,750. Features highlighted include more specific, tenant-friendly search, a 3D virtual walkthrough for every property listed, tenant referencing and integrated lettings agreements. The company says it has spent three years developing the proposition to streamline the previously fragmented rental transaction process. The fresh capital will fund an initial rollout across London, with further U.K. and international expansion planned. Founder and CEO Ahmed Gamal is quoted describing Rentd as the UK’s first rental platform combining these components into one user experience.
