  Vertalo builds cap table and investor onboarding solutions to facilitate direct ownership and direct listing of private assets, using distributed ledger technology to enable tokenization and secondary liquidity. The company offers white‑label, licensed, and joint‑venture deployment options for capital advisors, broker‑dealers, and investment banks. Vertalo says it focuses on simplifying investor onboarding and reducing systemic friction in private capital markets. It has reported six quarters of sequential growth, with Q1 2021 bookings topping $1.5 million. Vertalo closed a $5 million financing and intends to use proceeds to hire more developers and technical account managers to execute its roadmap and meet rising global client demand. Multiple clients participated in the offering and the company has added board members at its parent, SeriesX. Vertalo is a CRM platform developed on Ethereum that is positioned to support tokenization and security token offerings. The product is being developed by SeriesX, which plans to use new capital to further develop the Vertalo platform and expand its technical team. SeriesX says Vertalo will help manage connections and contracts with stakeholders as organizations decentralize. Investors and partners view the product as relevant to tokenization of cap tables and the convergence of HR and fintech. SeriesX plans to launch Vertalo later this year. The company was a runner-up in Capital Factory’s 100K Blockchain Challenge at SXSW in March.
