Entact Bio is building a proprietary Encompass platform to create enhancement-targeting chimeric (ENTAC) molecules that boost the function of beneficial proteins. ENTACs are designed to recruit deubiquitinases (DUBs) to selectively shorten or remove ubiquitin chains, restoring or enhancing target protein activity. The platform integrates biological, chemical, and computational tools to identify amenable disease targets, select optimal DUBs, and design target‑DUB specific molecules. The company was launched by founders with deep expertise in DUB biochemistry, chemical biology, disease biology, and small‑molecule drug development. Entact is a preclinical-stage company that says ENTACs have broad utility across disease types and the potential to expand the druggable space for hard‑to‑treat diseases. The company announced an $81 million Series A to advance its preclinical pipeline and platform.
