  Gridwealth is a fully integrated energy company that develops, owns, operates, and supplies electricity from solar and storage assets. Its products include third-party energy asset provision (solar-as-a-tenant), retail electricity supply, discounted utility credits from remote solar farms, behind-the-meter energy management from battery energy storage systems, and services such as portfolio real estate reviews, offtake procurement and billing, REC brokerage, PPAs, and O&M. The company was founded in 2013 and is expanding rapidly across the U.S., currently involved in over 150 projects and targeting 500 MW of operating solar assets by 2027. In 2024 Gridwealth is continuing expansion into several new states to meet growing C&I demand and public incentives for electrification. The business received $10 million in corporate capital from West Town Bank & Trust to support growth staff and operations needed for its expanding project portfolio. This funding marks West Town’s first engagement with Gridwealth and is intended to accelerate deployment of commercial and industrial solar, large-scale battery storage, and EV charging assets.
