TwicPics provides a responsive-image-as-a-service product that automatically delivers appropriately sized and formatted images with lightweight, unobtrusive code to improve page load times and SEO. The company serves several large French customers, including 20 Minutes, La Provence, the French Football Federation, Camaïeu, Le Coq Sportif, LVMH and L’Oréal. TwicPics plans to add integrations with CMS and ecommerce platforms such as WordPress and Magento to make the product accessible via simple plugins. The roadmap also includes short video adaptation capabilities to resize and reformat video for any device and analytics features with business metrics to drive conversions. The team says the product is aimed at future‑proofing image delivery for web businesses and their users. TwicPics is based at Station F and the 50 Partners co‑working space (the Loft) in central Paris.
