American Bitcoin Corp. operates as a bitcoin mining company, having been spun off from publicly traded miner Hut 8. The firm was co-founded by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, with Eric Trump serving as chief strategy officer. The Trump sons collectively own about 20% of the company, and Hut 8 and the Trumps are expected to retain roughly 98% ownership in the combined entity. Recently American Bitcoin completed a private placement that generated aggregate gross proceeds of about $220 million in cash and bitcoin and was described as oversubscribed by Hut 8’s CEO Asher Genoot. Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss invested bitcoin in the company as part of that private placement; the size of their investment was not disclosed. American Bitcoin Corp. is pursuing a public listing via a merger with Gryphon Digital Mining that, if approved by Gryphon shareholders, is expected to result in a Nasdaq listing in early September 2025. Bloomberg has previously reported Eric Trump’s stake could be worth about $367 million when the company goes public.

Privateer builds technology to improve life on Earth from space, focusing on space safety, fully automated maneuvers, and a ride-sharing platform for space imagery and data. The company operates a Wayfinder data engine that will be integrated with newly acquired data assets. In a Series A raise it secured $56.5 million and simultaneously acquired Orbital Insight. Orbital Insight brings the TerraScope analytics platform and advanced AI modeling used across land, air and sea applications, including illegal fishing and supply-chain visibility. Privateer said TerraScope will integrate with Wayfinder to bring data and intelligence across domains, from sea to space. The company was launched in 2021 and was founded by CEO and Chairman Alex Fielding, Chief Scientist Dr. Moriba Jah, and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
