surgiQ develops a multimodal healthtech platform that manages waiting lists and supports everyday clinical activity from the first visit within the surgery department up to admission and beyond. The company has deployed its solution in the Italian healthcare market through close cooperation with Genoa-based Galliera Hospital and Rome-based Bambin Gesù Child Hospital. Its platform has handled more than 10,000 patients in Italy. Led by CEO and co-founder Ivan Porro, surgiQ plans to use new funding to further develop its platform and accelerate international expansion. The company is also entering the UK market via an NHS-dedicated project. The article reports a recent funding injection of US$235k to support these initiatives.
