Mainline provides a licensed, white‑labeled tournament software platform and event management services that let customers host, manage, monetize and market esports programs. The company began as a subsidiary of FanReact (now Truss) and was spun off in 2016 to specifically serve the collegiate esports market. Mainline has expanded beyond collegiate esports and now runs thousands of online tournaments and live events for major brands and gaming organizations, including Dreamhack, PUBG Corp and Clutch Gaming, and worked with ESPN on its inaugural Collegiate Esports Championship. The platform is integrated with partners such as ESPN and Twitch, and the executive team includes veterans from NRG Esports, ESL, Dreamhack, Blizzard, Twitch and other industry organizations. Mainline plans to use new funding to enhance its tournament software technology platform, increase marketing, hire development, marketing and sales talent, and expand its event management customer base to additional major brands.
