Mayan is a cross-chain auction protocol built on Solana that locates the best rates for executing transactions from any blockchain. The protocol converts input tokens to USDC and uses Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) to move value to the target chain. On-chain transfers are facilitated by burning USDC on the source chain and re-minting on the target chain, with Circle and the source chain coordinating the process. Mayan also uses Wormhole’s messaging platform to transmit auction-related data between chains. The team plans to introduce a points system to track user engagement on Mayan. Financially, Mayan completed a $3 million seed financing to support development and growth.
