  Posha produces a $1,750 direct-to-consumer countertop robot that uses computer vision and recipe software to prepare meals after users add ingredients. Users pick recipes, add roughly measured ingredients or substitutions, and the machine handles most of the cooking while consumers do some prep work like chopping. The company emphasizes customer obsession, maintaining close WhatsApp contact with early users and relying largely on word-of-mouth marketing. Posha launched its robots in January 2025, sold out its first production batch, and is taking pre-orders for a second batch. The startup plans to expand its recipe library and add generative AI capabilities to turn user recipe ideas into device instructions quickly. Posha evolved from an earlier robotic-arm approach (formerly Nymble) after time in Bosch’s accelerator and aims to further product development with new funding. Nymble builds Julia, an AI- and machine-learning-powered domestic cooking robot that can cook most single‑pot meals unattended and handle multiple vegetables, meats, and spice blends. The company says Julia can manage about eight varieties of vegetables and meat and six different spice blends simultaneously, enabling dishes like curries, pastas, noodles, and rice-based meals. Founded in 2016, Nymble is a graduate of the Bosch DNA Accelerator and has received grants from the Government of Karnataka. The fresh funding will be deployed toward product development and innovation, expansion of its technical team, and conducting closed user trials with end customers. Nymble also plans to use the funds to augment its technology capabilities, create intellectual property, and establish a presence in China and the USA. Co‑founders Raghav Gupta and Rohin Malhotra emphasize the market need for fresh home-cooked food amid busy lifestyles and rising delivery costs.
